The Tour
Based on our 2024 one-night-only immersive experience, we've drawn on WB Yeats and Michio Ito's "Drawing Room Theatre," current "DIY" trends, and ancient caroling/koliada traditions to craft a show that can be performed anywhere from a living room for 5 people to a hotel lobby for 30.
Performances & Content
Fable is designed to be performed in unusual spaces, and to bring the performing arts to everyone. We perform in apartments, backyards, lobbies, and public spaces - wherever someone offers to host us.
Due to the varied nature of our venues, accessibility levels may vary. We can guarantee that restrooms will be available; details on stairs, allergens, parking, and other considerations are noted in each show’s listing on Ticket Tailor.
When performing in private locations such as houses and apartments, the neighborhood is indicated on the ticket listing; exact addresses are sent to ticketholders 48 hours before the performance.
Venues & Acessibility
Each performance may involve elements such as traditional storytelling, dance, singing, divination, improvised audience interactions, and other surprises. The show is different every time, tailored to the space it's performed in.
Performances last 45-90 minutes, depending upon many factors. Length may be affected by the amount of audience interaction, so we anticipate slightly longer runtimes at venues with larger capacity.
All shows are appropriate for all ages, unless otherwise noted. However, the themes and stories are mature (sometimes dealing with depression, identity, and other heavy issues); the intended audience is 14+.
Audience interaction is optional, and audience members are given a way to indicate their interaction preferences to the performers before the show begins.
